Getting Started with Search Pulse

Search Pulse Team

Search Pulse shows how AI assistants talk about your brand. In less than two minutes you can see a free snapshot—no credit card required. Sign up, add your brand, and the dashboard reveals where AI descriptions are accurate, missing, or favour competitors. Use these insights to fix blind spots before choosing weekly monitoring.

The 2-Minute Snapshot

  1. Sign up with your email
  2. Add your brand (name, URL, short description)
  3. Review results from our sample AI queries

That’s all it takes to understand how models like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini currently perceive you.

Why the Snapshot Matters

  • Immediate visibility gaps – spot missing or outdated facts
  • Competitive context – see who AI recommends alongside (or instead of) you
  • Content planning cues – identify information you should add or update

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1 – Add Your Brand

Provide three basics:

  • Brand Name – exactly as you want it referenced
  • Website URL – primary domain (needed for verification)
  • Brand Description – your single source of truth (see tips below)

Step 2 – Write a Focused Brand Description

This description is what our evaluator compares against AI answers, so clarity wins.

Good example

EcoGlow designs energy-efficient LED lighting for homes and offices. Our bulbs are 90 % more efficient than incandescents and last 25 years. Key lines: smart bulbs, desk lamps, architectural fixtures. Based in Denver, we ship worldwide.

Weak example

“We sell lights.”

Best-practice checklist

  1. Name your niche and audience
  2. List core products or services
  3. Mention differentiators (location, materials, pricing, etc.)

Step 3 – Understand Your Results

We ask questions like “What is [Brand]?” across multiple models and score responses:

Rank Meaning
Excellent Accurate details throughout
Good Mostly correct, minor gaps
Fair Some correct info but missing essentials
Poor Limited or partially wrong
Irrelevant Model doesn’t recognise the brand

Step 4 – Act on Insights

If AI doesn’t recognise your brand

  1. Publish a detailed “About Us” page
  2. Earn mentions on reputable sites (press, directories)
  3. Make sure search engines can crawl and index your content

If AI gets facts wrong

  1. Update key pages with current data (pricing, features, milestones)
  2. Add Q&A content that answers common queries directly
  3. Ensure consistency across website, socials, and directories

If AI recommends competitors

  1. Strengthen your unique value proposition on core pages
  2. Create comparison content highlighting differences
  3. Expand content volume around your niche keywords

What Happens After You Upgrade?

Weekly automated queries track changes, alert you when perception shifts, and chart historical trends—no manual checks required. Upgrade anytime from inside the dashboard.
